St. Alban's Episcopal Church

Located at the corner of Columbus Avenue and North 30th Street, the graceful neo-gothic tower of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Waco, TX has stood for over seventy years as a symbol of faith, worship, and service. With its carillon of thirty-six bells, this strong tower has represented the values of the church itself CasaBella Architects was contracted to design a new Parish Hall with conditioned corridors connecting to the existing Parish House. In addition to the new 8,000 SF Parish Hall doubling the amount of previous space, CasaBella Architects oversaw extensive interior renovations within existing spaces to create new meetings rooms, classrooms, restrooms, offices, and other support spaces. Scope included a fully equipped 1,000 SF kitchen and a new education space for children and nursery in the former Parish House. Exterior site work included a new parking lot arrangement and porte-cochère for vehicular drop off at the Parish House. Phases two and three include new HVAC and AV/IT systems, a new chapel, a new community center and gym, and creating more space to accommodate growth and outreach.
